Search feature has some really bad limits in it. I selected a date range and a name to search for with no results. I knew it was there. I had to go and search a range of only 2 days, over and over and over till it found it. I guess the only search feature you have in paypal is yourself

Sometimes I can't find what I'm looking for although I know it's there so my work around has been to download or export my account Transaction History.

* Login to your account.
* Click "Activity"
* Under "Simple" "Detailed"
* Click on "Statements"
* Click on "Activity export"
* Select "Custom Date Range"
* Select your "From" and "To" Dates
* Under the Format drop down - Select "CSV"
* Click "Create Report"
* When the report is completed - click "Download"

What this process does is export your history to a CSV file, you can then use an app like Excel to sort, view, create and print your own reports.
