I set up a PayPal for the company I work for to sell items on eBay, deposits are sent to the companies bank. I must of **bleep** up because the Payee's name and SSN on the 1099K tax form is in my name. What do I need to do to resolve this?
I have the same issue. I know the income was accounted for in my business taxes already. I don't know if I need to get PayPal to issue a corrected 1099-K or if I should just ignore it and explain it to the IRS later if they bring it up.
