I ordered two items of E Bay for £28.99, I was suspicious when the money wasn't takaen directly as usual just shown as 'pending' then I got a messagae to say seller was no longer on E BAy so I cancelled the transaction; although the two payments went out of my bank account straight away and they are shown a 'refunded' on my accoun t , the mosy is neither in my bak account or my PayPal account.
I have tried e-mailing Pay Pal but just get sent to drop down options.
When you authorise a payment then it can't be stopped > even if you cancel it, it can't do a u-turn.
It has to travel from your bank account > paypal and then if you funded it via instant bank transfer it will be credited to your paypal account or if you funded it via a debit card it will go back to your card.
Dependent on how long after you paid that you cancelled it can take up to 5-7 working days.
