Refund not showing on visa card

So my friend and I did a deal where I would send him $50 for a pair of shoes, so I did it but then had a change of heart so asked him to refund the money, which he did. I used a $50 Visa Gift Card to send the money, and it says it was refunded but it isnt appearing on my card. Please help

I am sorry to hear about this experience. If your friend has decided to make a refund of your payment, the first thing is to access to your PayPal account to check the status of the transaction. If you can see that the status shows as refunded, the funds should be in your card shortly. Please note that refunds to a card might take up to 30 days to be displayed in your card.
