Refund after escalation agreed in favour of buyer

Paypal have agreed in my favour to refund me for a purchase and I have sent the relevant postage tracking details. I now have to wait on seller confirming the return has been delivered , which I know has happened as I have tracked the parcel and it has been delivered and it is signed for. If the seller does not repond to say the return has been delivered, what happens and what is the timescale I have to wait until I get my refund?

Normally paypal check the tracking number and refund you once delivered, but if they have not checked it yet just contact them and they should release your refund.


Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".

i sold an item on ebay and described it down to every fault and had a rude lying seller today demand for a refund!
and going by ebay i can't not accept the refund so i check my paypal and its on hold the payment,
so the buyer has tried to getting the money from me through paypal as well as ebay
i have no accepted a refund on ebay as i know with seller i will get a neg even as i am being honest that money is to pay my rent.
it sold for peanuts. £10 but the point is what can i do because i feel i am being scammed here Ebay and paypal taken sellers side when the item is as decribed

if you can tell i am new to paypal any help would be greatful
