Pending Refund....GONE!!

On the 13th of April I was sent an eBay refund for an item of clothing I returned. I could see the refund in my PayPal account as pending. However, today, there is nothing in my pending list, the money has not cleared to my paypal account and has not appeard in my bank account/card either. 

Has this happened to anyone else? 

How can I resolve this?

Should I contact the seller? eBay? PayPal?

Refunds are funded via a sellers bank account, if when paypal go to take the money from their bank account their are not enough funds in there then the refund will fail.

iF THAT IS THE CASE THEN >>Get back on to ebay and tell them the refund failed.

OR

2. If the refund is marked as COMPLETED and you funded the original payment via a card then it will take about a week to show up on your card.

Hey, thanks for the prompt response @kernowlass

I paid for the goods using PayPal but there was no balance in my paypal account so it came straight from my bank card via PayPal (does that make sense?)

So does that mean I should carry on waiting for it to clear in my bank account? Or has the refund failed on the sellers side?

Is the refund marked as completed in your paypal account???

Yes it is showing as completed @kernowlass.

Does that mean waiting another week for it to clear fully?

Sorry for all of the questions, I just got worried when I saw it cleared but there was no money lol!

Yes once marked completed it takes about a week to hit your card (bank account or credit card).

Paypal say to allow up to 30 days but mine have never taken more than 7 days.
