PayPal won't refund my unauthorized payments!

My younger brother who I do not live with had somehow found out my details and password to make payments for virutal currency in an online game.

Over £1000 has been spent which was going to be used to take my family on holiday this summer.

The sellers wouldn't give my money back so I reported them all as unauthorized yet paypal says they couldn't find a ''third party'' so therefore cannot refund my stolen money.

This is ridiculous. He is just a kid, not some hacker using a ''third party''. He simply logged into my account at my mums house and spent the money there.

Now from my point of view the sellers and paypal are thieves and scammers themselves for doing this. It's disgusting.

Is there no way of getting my money that i did not spend back?

@Josh2903

If you let someone find out your paypal account details ie password then its your responsibility and your debt.

If he just logged in then you could not have kept your password safe.

i did not let him.

i do not live with him. he has never had granted access to my laptop or any of my accounts.

he has clearly just been smart enough to figure my password out.

that is not my fault and should be entitled to my money back.

Then you could not have had a safe enough password.

Even my husband does not know and could not guess mine.
