Getting back Unclaimed Money

Hi,

I sent money to a friend as a gift but they don't use paypal so can't claim the money. How do I get that money back? 

I sent the same person money in March and it's still sitting there, unclaimed but I can't see how to retrieve it.

Anyone help please?

Welcome to the Community!

If you have sent a payment that is showing as unclaimed on your account, you should have the option to cancel the payment through the 'Activity' page on PayPal. 

If you are unable to cancel the transaction on PayPal, the payment would be canceled automatically after 30 days if it has not been claimed.
