Cancelled Payment taken from Bank Account

Hi All, I paid for something and sent it to an email address. We agreed to cancel the payment and did so however, it was taken from my bank account. I am going to bank transfer him the amount I originally sent but I want to confirm this will not get to his bank account as well as the bank deposit i am about to make. Please respond aa soon as possible. Thank you.

If you mean that he refunded you the payment then its probably showing as pending?

Once cleared it would be credited to your paypal balance if you paid via bank transfer, if you used a debit card it would go back to that card.
