Buyer getting error code #1018 when trrying to pay pal monies to me??

I have a buyer how is trying to send payment to me via pay pal and she's getting an error code to contact seller error code #1018? Does anyone know what this is... I've checked all my info and can't find anything incorrect? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Pill

Edit your title in your post and put the name "Amanda" in capital letters - sge's a paypal employee and she may be able to find out.

I'm a buyer and am getting the same error code when I try to pay for an item.

It mentions the seller's preferences for receiving PayPal payments. Did anyone ever come up with a solution to this?

Hello everyone!

Whoops, our coding is showing!  My apologies.  This error code is usually produced when a seller's settings are blocking your payment.  You'll want to contact the seller and open a dialogue with them as to what settings they may have that could be blocking your payment.
