paypal java sdk deprecated

Hi,

I am using the paypal SDK for Java and Checkout Java SDK. Both are deprecated, but there is no indications about the cause of deprecation.

Does anyone knows why they are deprecated? If deprecation cause will be known, maybe someone could try to manage the SDK and maintain the source code...
