paypal cannot connect to my bank BMO and will not delete my old banking information

I want to change my banking info from a Vancity acct to a BMO acct. I follow the steps and try to add BMO and it says it cannot connect. No reason or solution given.  It wont delete my current one because I have not given an alternative.

please help!!

Hi @xio1,

 

I'm sorry to hear that the bank that you are trying to add is being declined. This can happen for a few reasons. For real-time troubleshooting with a representative who can look at the account and see what's happening, please call Customer Service. Please click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website, then click Call us. Then log in to get the number to call or click call as a guest if there are any issues logging in.
