My API Key was rejected when I tried to connect my WordPress site to my PayPal Business account. In my WordPress dashboard I went to WooCommerce/Settings/Advanced. I clicked on the link "REST API". On the next page, after filling out the key details section I clicked "Add Key" button. I am now taken to a page that has a Key Details section, there is a message that says "API Key generated successfully". "Consumer Key" and "Consumer Secret" numbers are generated and I presume this is my API public and private keys. I'm not sure however, I cannot find a way to check if this is indeed where I get my API Keys.
Do I really need to go through WooCommerce on my WordPress site to get an API key from PayPal? Wouldn't it make sense that I could just get API Keys for PayPal when I'm logged in to there site somewhere?
