We use the API and we add a paypal fee to our invoices for our members. it is the exact calculated cost, 2.9% + 30 cents, we do not want to profit from the fee.
charge: $100.xx
paypal fee: $3.xx
total: 103.xx
Then PayPal charges the 2.7% + 30 cents on the $103.xx
But PayPal is charging us on the total charge so there is no way to recoup 100% of the fee ??
We do not want to profit on the fee but we do not want to pay either.
