Permissions for editing buttons

Hi. I'm trying to help a client edit buttons to her liking. She has added me as a sub-user and given me API and marketing permissions - which apparently are not sufficient, as I get the
> "We're sorry, you don't have permission to complete this action. For more information, contact the person who controls your account permissions."
message if I try to edit a button.
Which permissions are needed, please? I can't seem to find a proper list anywhere.
