I don't understand the correct procedure for making an order patch

I am trying to integrate paypal through rest api.

my situation is this.
- the customer must authorize the payment of a service that will be captured 30min before the use of the service.
- however there is the possibility that after the authorization the price will be changed

the problem I have is:
an authorized order has a completed status, so it is no longer possible to patch it.
