How to create a donation button for a specific app? (to get webhook events for donations)

Greetings everyone. I'm a bit confused on the process here.
I created an app in Developer Account.
I set up the webhook URL for that app.
So the next logical step would be to create a donation button for that app so I can get webhook events when someone donates.
But when I log into my actual paypal account, there is no field to supply the app to in the donation button. What is the process here? How does one corelate or pair a donation with a specific developer app? After all you can supply the apps URL for receiving webhooks so the app should also be accepting donations too right?

Ok so I managed to get it to work but I had to use Smart Buttons the text of which I have set to say "donations". With a smart button I can select which paypal developer app to use and I got the web-hooks working just fine with that. It's not the actual donation button but at least I've got something working.
