Any improvement in term of subscription with Paypal?

Hi,

We are running Finnhub Stock API. We are looking to integrate Paypal to our product for the subscription. Our experience with the old Billing Agreement for subscription is not very good and it took us so much time to integrate it for another project. Just wondering if there is any new big improvements on the new Subscription API with Paypal ?

In our experience, no.  billing-agreements are more flexible because they are merchant initiated so dates and amounts can be changed.  subscriptions reverts to the old PayPal model (~2012?) where PayPal initiates billing and all the merchant can do is cancel. Either way you have to listen for and interpret IPNs to be up to date with changes.
