So with the PayPal business debit card, I’m aware that if you try to make a purchase with a merchant and you don’t have sufficient PayPal funds, PayPal will “pull” funds from your bank account / debit card to cover the purchase. I’d just like to ask - if the funds are being pulled from a debit card linked to the PayPal account, on said debit card, will the transaction appear as a money transfer to PayPal or will it appear as a purchase? I.e. on my bank statement of the debit card which the funds are being pulled from, will it just appear as “PayPal” as though it’s just a top up, or will the merchant which I used the PayPal card appear?
