paypal.me linkj gone

I made a paypal.melink and deleted my business account. However that resulted in me having to make my account again and now my PP.me link is gone and unavailable. Does this mean I can never get it back?

Unfortunately, no. Have to create another unique link name. Choose it well as it can not be changed unless you close your account to make a new link.
