There's also an issue about the temporary charge that gas stations put on the card to validate it and that may hog up some funds on card causing you to not have enough on it for the fuel purchase, so you have to have ample amount on your card/paypal balance. Some stations validate at something crazy like $50 to $100. So you have to go into the shop to swipe card and tell them how much you gonna spend instead of paying at the pump.
