PayPal Credit has to be offered during checkout to you before you can use it, it is integrated into PayPal checkout systems at whoever accepts PayPal and use is determined on user behaviors, account history, payment history, etc. All software runned, can't be overridden. Maybe you have to make a few successful completed transactions with your own linked payment methods before it is offered to you. It can also restrict use depending on the circumstances of your purchase and have to use your linked methods instead.
