money pool donations going straight to main account

I set up a pool this morning. I emailed the link to several friends. A couple of donations have come in already, but they went straight into my main account, and do not show as activity in the pool. This is different than the last time I set up a pool. Any ideas why; any instructions on how to get donations to go into the pool that I shared the link to?

maybe these people are not using the link proper and sending money direct through their PayPal accounts. ask them.
