If there’s not enough money in your PayPal balance at the time of your purchase, top-up can instantly pull increments of $10 from your linked bank account or debit card so your payment doesn’t get declined. Top-Up can be set up on both the PayPal Website and the App.
When using the app, log in to your PayPal account, select settings, and then select PayPal Cash Card. From there, select the option for 'Top-up.' Follow the instructions to enable top-up. Return to this screen to disable top-up.
On the PayPal website, select Manage Card in the PayPal Cash Card section of your PayPal Wallet. Next scroll down to ‘Automatic Top Up is off’ and click edit. Follow the instructions to enable automatic Top-Up.
