Using the PayPal App to receive the $25 promotion for shopping at 3 qualifying merchants and spending min. $35 each time is not required. When viewing the offer from a PC and logged in, the page simply displays a "Save the offer" button. When clicked another button displays, "Save the offer Now". When that is clicked the T&C's display as well as the qualifying merchants. No where else in the consumer's account does it display or acknowledge that the consumer accepted the offer. In fact, the consumer can repeatedly follow the button clicking sequence above and the account page will not display or confirm the offer is setup for the account holder. Further, PayPal displays no where whether 130k users have used the offer already, which if so would deem the offer as expired.
My experience and that of those I've encountered is PayPal is not fully honoring this promotion as the promotion is laid out. Equally concerning, PayPal is refusing to address phone calls on this matter and not responding to messages to resolve claims that PayPal is not honoring the promotion.
This is a poorly executed promotion for possibly nefarious reasons and unfortunately to incentivize PayPal users to spend more money with no reward reciprocated.
