Why don't PP credit payments reflect immediately when payments are made in cash from balance?

Why don't PP credit payments reflect immediately when payments are made in cash from balance?  PP takes way too long to update balances and credits..Sometimes balances differ depending if you click on Credit, Summary, activity etc.

doesn't look like it matters necessarily what the funding source is.
