What is the account holder name for my Debit Cash Card checking account?

I have my account number and routing number for my PayPal Cash Debit Card but my employer needs an account holder name. Is this simply the one that is on the debit card and my PayPal account or something else? And if I understand this correctly, since I haven't used direct deposit to transfer any money to my PayPal it will be stored for 2 pay cycles (or 2 weeks?) before direct deposit is activated so it can go into my account, correct?

Hi Alex,

Yes, the account holder name will be the name as it is written on your PayPal Cash debit card. Below is a PayPal direct deposit link. Select "Print Your Form" and you will again see the account holder name exactly as it should be written on your employer form.

As for the amount of time it will take for the direct deposit to become available—it will take one to two pay periods for the deposit to show in your account. As stated in the "See More" tab in the above link, PayPal suggest that you plan to receive paper checks for a few weeks until you're fully set up.
