I wold love to have a definitive answer as to WHEN EXACTLY points I have earned for purchases are credited to the
Rewards Account and available for redemption. Is it different for different categories of purchases ?
I have received SEVERAL answers, but none seem to fit what I see:
Are points credited as soon as purchase is confirmed and paid out to vendors as a charge to the card ? Are points credited days later ?
Are points not credited until the purchase posts to the statement and monthly PAYMENT is made ?
A SINGLE ANSWER would really help me to use my account more efficiently so I can anticipate when I can redeem points for gift cards. I know my
PAYMENT DUE date and my STATEMENT CUT OFF date, but I DO NOT KNOW how these affect availability of points earned, so I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance for CORRECT answers.
