My PC have been infected yesterday by a ransomware asking me to pay for a decryption key. This morning PayPal sent me an email stating that a credit card ending in xxxx was added to my account and in 6 mins it was removed. The credit card referenced is NOT one of my cards. My card service sent me a message that it tried to pay a certain company 4 min after the card was added.
Does this mean someone was able to log into my PayPal account without authentication and how may I re secure my account?
