Is there any issue with Sainsbury (Leeds) not accepting parcels bought on eBay using the Click & Collect option.
I sold an item on 27th Oct 2020, Hermes collected it on 28th October. Tracking reported That it was out for delivery on 31st Oct but within half an hour it had been re-directed back to me. It arrived back on 4th Nov without any explanation.
Via a chat room they thought there was a courier error. Hermes agreed to deliver it a second time. It was collected on 5th Nov and was supposed to be delivered on 11th Nov. This evening I asked why it had not been delivered. The reply was that it had been redirected back to me a second time. I have requested the reason for the non-delivery but it may take time to get a reply.
My question please to the community: Is there any reason why Sainsburys does not accept collect parcels. Would a courier know where to drop of the parcel.
