I recently setup a new WordPress site and added a donation button. When I use Merchant ID as the link on the donation button it works fine. When I use the PayPal.Me address it doesn't work. 'It states there may be a problem with the merchant'. I was wondering if anyone had heard of this issue before and had any ideas as to what the problem may be.
Also, I noticed people on YouTube and other social media now use PayPal.Me to keep private details safe such as their e-mail or full-name. I did try and change the name attached to my Paypal but it's asking for photographic ID. I've seen people use the PayPal me function with just first names or nicknames above the donation link on the PayPal page so how is this achieved?
