Dear Community,
I've never read about a problem like mine. I received an obnoxious American Express Gift Card from someone in lieu of Cash.
I installed the $100 Gift Card into my Paypal with help from Paypal Customer Service ( it was very involved and complicated )
THe advantage I thought was I could make the Gift Card Preferred Payment and spend It that way.
Almost 2 years later, I cannot spend it, I cannot access it, I cannot send it to someone as a Gift, even.
Question: Can I eventually get to that $100 If I shut down my entire account, will Paypal hold onto it?
