We have a paypal.me link and it is part of Facebook Messenger Chatbot. Our users have the option of paying through Paypal by clicking the button, which goes to our paypal.me link.
If the user is within messenger.com (standalone FB messenger site), then the paypal.me link is redirecting correctly to the next step.
The link also works correctly if used within FB Messenger app (both android and ios).
However, if the user clicks on the link from within FB chat window (that pops up within FB page) on Desktop, then FBCLID parameter is automatically appended to the paypal.me link and it throws the below error message.

Make sure the link is correct or that it's still active.
The FBCLID parameter is a default tracking parameter added by FB for every outgoing link.
For some reason, Paypal.me link doesn't work from Desktop FB Browser chat.
The Paypal link after clicking shows up as below. I am masking the username for privacy.
