PayPal Debit Card Declined - What do I need to do to be able to use it again?

Hi,

 

My card got declined at the store this afternoon ... definitely insufficient funds, as I was skating too close to what I have in my PayPal and the transaction went over by a few cents. I had the cashier take an item off to make it an amount that I knew my account would cover, but the card still declined. (We tried this one more time after that before giving up, so a total of three declines.)

 

I have checked since I got home, and the money I thought was in the account is definitely still in there. I just wasn't able to access it at the store after that first time the card was declined. I have questions!

 

1) Do I need to contact someone at PayPal in order to make my card usable again?

2) If I don't need to do that, how long do I need to wait before I can use the card?
