Pay in 3 payment problems

Hi I tried to purchase something using the PayPal pay in 3 option but when it went to complete/set up the transaction it said it failed, this happened twice. However, I noticed it still took the first instalment payment twice. I have no confirmation email that the order went through on the company so why has my money been taken and when will paypal release it back to me.

Just encountered the same issue. 2 payments for £100. Messaged and they said I have to call the credit center - can't because im at work, but I'll let you know when I do. Did your money bounce back? That's what I've been assuming would happen.
