@WhiteKnight3141: I'm tagging you as it seems that you're the one who might have an answer to, not only mine, but probably hundreds, if not thousands, of us European Expat problems. My wife and I have received our Corona Stimulus Checks and we live here in The Netherlands. We don't have a US banking account since we thought, year's ago, that we would no longer need one and closed out all our US bank accounts. Now the problem is, there's not a bank here in The Netherlands who will either cash those checks nor allow us to deposit them into our Dutch account for processing. I've read where PayPal has an option called: PayPal Cash Plus and must be used with the PayPal app (which I have), but the problem with that is when I choose the "More" option in the app, I'm supposed to see another option "Cash a Check", then take a photo of the front and back of the check and then I'm able to electronically for that to PayPal. That option to "Cash a Check" is not there. I've spoken with other American Expats here in Holland, who use the PayPal app, and they also do not have that option. What gives? Are we blocked from being able to electronically cash out US Government checks because we're here in The Netherlands? And from what I'm reading from other expats in other European countries, they're having the same problem. If that's the case, then these stimulus checks aren't worth the paper they're printed on. I sincerely hope you can assist with this serious problem or at least give some advice on how to get this done.
