I recently had to switch phones and my new phone will not allow me to use PayPal as in store purchase option using Google Pay. PayPal and Google both say my accounts are fine. Google suggests it is because PayPal is still linked to my old handset. I can't find anyway to link the new handset with the PayPal account. Also, when I tell the PayPal app to add itself to google pay it says it does it then wants to add a PayPal cash account to my accounts but I already have one. Any ideas?
