Is there a button to "Upgrade you PayPal.me" when you go to your account settings and click Manage under your PayPal.me link? Perhaps you need to upgrade it. I have not upgraded mines but it says "Help people know it's you they're paying, and have more control over what people see." so I presume you will be able to add photos/logos when the link is upgraded. I have not seen any documentation regarding upgrading of the link via google so it must be a new-ish feature.
