Confused by money pools

I just set up a money pool and wanted to transfer my personal contribution but I could only pledge.  Is this the same for others contributing or is it different for those who didn't themselves set up the pool?  How do I transfer my contribution, or am I missing the point?

Can I contribute to my own Money Pool?
Unfortunately, you can't send money to yourself or add money to your own pool at present.
