Closed an account, but PayPal.me/[Account] still exists

Hello, I closed a PayPal account because of ma misspelled name. I had setup a PayPal.me for that account. 

The account seems to be closed, but people still can access PayPal.me/[closed account] and send money...

Hi @Nanookh,

I'm sorry that the ability to send to a closed account still exists. PayPal.me links remain tied to the account that they were created on. If a payment is sent to a closed account, it will be unclaimed and will refund back to the sender after 30 days of being unclaimed.
