Can I get guest check-out for my new Paypal.me link.

We are a group of old friends who meet regularly.  Paypal chat advised me that Paypal.me was the best way to collect money for meeting costs from the group.  And it said non paypal friends would be able to use the guest checkout.  I have set up palpal.me on my account but it only accepts paypal users to send me money.  Cannot find where to switch on the guest checkout.  Many of my older friends do not want a paypal account.  Any ideas please?

Yeah, a PayPal account is required to be set up to pay. paypal.me link is not mentioned as one of the methods where PayPal account optional is available.

If the grey "pay with credit/debit card" button is not available on the PayPal log in page after an amount is entered and the Next button is clicked then senders have to create a PayPal account.
