Buying with Paypal Mastercard not on Paypal site.

I was going to make a purchase on a site that said they take Paypal but the link to Paypal did not work so they emailed to just use a credit card.  If I use my Paypal Mastercard, is my purchase still covered under the protection plan?  I have used the card on other sites without thinking about this but this purchase would be from Canada and I'm not sure about it. Is using your Mastercard the same as using Paypal credit?  It is marked a debit card and comes right out.  I never check to use Paypal credit but always prefer to use a link if possible do I don't share my card information.  thank you.

Which card ?    They have several with the MasterCard Logo - each has their own Card Holder Agreement.

* PayPal Cashback MasterCard (Physical Card)
To earn Cash Rewards, you must have an open PayPal Account in good standing to which your Card Account is linked.   With this card you can earn Cash Rewards on all of your purchases that you can redeem into your PayPal account.    Qualifies for MasterCard Benefits - for example:  If you become dissatisfied with a product you purchase using your eligible MasterCard within 60 days of purchase,

* PayPal Extras MasterCard  (Physical Card)
Without an active PayPal account to which your Card is linked, you will not be able to (1) use the Card to make purchases through PayPal; (2) earn rewards on PayPal purchases; (3) redeem rewards online or in a form other than statement credit; and (4) take advantage of online account management, make payments online or receive online statements. You will only be able to redeem rewards in the form of a statement credit by calling the number on the back of your card.   Qualifies for MasterCard Benefits - for example:  If you become dissatisfied with a product you purchase using your eligible MasterCard within 60 days of purchase,

* PayPal Credit - Digital Line of Credit  (No Physical Card)

Technically not a credit card as it functions like a prepaid card, it does not extend credit but, can be use for purchases and/or ATM withdraws. The funds come from your PayPal Account Balance, no direct transfer to the card is required.

PayPal Prepaid MasterCard (Physical Card)
Use of this Card requires a PayPal Account.  You can add funds to your card via Direct Deposit, at reload centers or

thank you for your reply but this is just a copy of explanations and not an answer for me.  nowhere does it state whether these different purchases are covered by the PP guarantee and that is what I wanted to know.
