Recently I received an email from PayPal explaining if you send 1p to a friend, and from that link they sign up to PayPal, then, (after they spend or send £5) you will both be sent £10. I have done this with my friend and nothing has happened. I checked the terms and conditions which explained that the £5 couldn’t be sent to the referee who originally sent the 1p, so my friend sent money to another friend, however still heard nothing back from PayPal.
