In general, you do not need to add a card to activate your account. If you are referring to the account verification, based on your Country you may be able to add a card or a bank account and confirm one of those funding sources. To do so, simply login to the 'Wallet' section of your account and click 'Add' under the 'Cards' or 'Bank account' sections and follow the instructions.
