pay-in-4 question

Does pay-in-4 take out a temporary hold? I split the payments in 4 but I was charged twice for the amount due today. Ie: the payment was supposed to be split into 4 payments of $56 and I was charged twice in the same day for that amount.

I understand your concern about the temporary hold on the Pay in 4 transactions. Each Pay in 4 transaction associates with an authorization corresponding to the initial down payment. Once the payment gets completed, any duplicate pending authorization will be automatically voided by PayPal within 72 hours of the pre-authorization hold. I suggest you to wait till the required time frame.
