I would like to add a link to my web site so that clients can send a donation to my paypal account. How would I write this link?

I understand you'd like to receive donations through your website. It sounds like a Donation Button might be what you're looking for. I suggest checking out this Help Center article for guidelines on setting up a Button. As an alternative, the Sell on Social Link might work as well.
