I have had my PayPal credit account since 2011 when it was Bill me later and over the years I have used it often and I have paid well over $10,000 in interest total over the years and I have a $9,300 credit line with them now in good standing.
During that time I have had two late payments in the last 12 years one was 6 hours late about 5 years ago and a recent one was 3 hours late and I was charged $35 I contacted them and explained the situation and asked if they will remove the fee and they said they would have to get back to me and that was the last I heard from them. I called again and again was told they would get back to me which never happened and when I tried to ask the question by chat my link was deactivated I checked it several more times for a couple of weeks.
Am I wasting my time ? Has anyone ever had a late fee removed? I have had a total of 2 late payments in 12 years which were a few hours late and then paid in full.
