can I pay off credit early without being penalised at the end??

Hello I've been approved for PayPal credit and was wondering before I use it if I will get penalised for paying off early? I am being offered monthly payments so I am thinking about doing over 18months to keep payments low but topping them up each month to finish the plan earlier. Is this allowed .. will I still be charged the same interest at the end regardless? Sorry if I sound dumb but 1st time using any sort of credit! Also is there anything else I should know before I use? Thanks
