What is a MSB redemption?

Can anyone tell me where a credit that was applied to a valid payment came from? It is listed on my statement as "MSB Redemption".

It's possible that you have received a cashback for that particular purchase. PayPal offers a variety of ways to access aspects of the Rewards Program across PayPal services and one of the redemption option is a PayPal Shopping Credit. This award provides a specified discount on future eligible purchases paid for using PayPal. Please refer to our PayPal rewards program page for more details.
