Using PayPal Credit

Feel like I’m being thick here so apologies from the start. I’ve a PayPal Credit account with a funding limit of £6k. I currently have an outstanding balance of £250 and want to pay a vendor for goods of £1200. No matter how often I try the only option I see to pay the vendor is either my credit card or my bank account. I’m fearful of moving through the transaction in case I end up paying with my credit card or bank account as this is not what I want to do…….hope this makes sense. I’ve tried to resolve but keep going round in circles being told that I can pay the vendor with my credit card or bank account……..getting frustrated so was hoping I could get this explained as if I was 5😁 cheers.

Hello @Clarky44

Welcome! Thanks for joining PayPal's Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear there's some confusion around a recent payment attempt, but I'm glad you reached out. If you don't see PayPal Credit available as a funding source, it will not be used. Unfortunately, PayPal Credit may not be available for every purchase due to a few different factors. If you don't see it available, you're welcome to reach out to our Customer Support teams to double-check the payment attempt, however it's normally best to try another funding source for that specific transaction.

Best wishes!
